As a Chicago wedding planner, I absolutely loved planning this beautiful celebration at the historic Armour House at Lake Forest Academy, creating a wedding day that felt as special and unforgettable as the couple themselves. The design was inspired by that beautiful transition between summer and fall, with a warm palette of creamy neutrals, lush greens, and subtle touches of autumn woven throughout the day. Golden candlelight adorned the reception tables, adding warmth and an effortless glow to the historic setting as the evening unfolded. The bride and groom were truly electric together, and their joy, connection, and genuine love for one another came through in every single photo. What made this wedding especially meaningful to me was getting to know the couple throughout the planning process and watching their excitement grow as their wedding day came to life. They are genuinely incredible people, and somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with them and felt so lucky to be part of such an important chapter in their lives. It was an absolute joy to create this celebration with them, and I am genuinely so happy for these two as they begin this next season of life together.
