The Old Post Office, Chicago

As a Chicago wedding planner, it was an absolute joy to bring this stunning urban chic wedding to life in the heart of the city. The day began at Nobu Hotel Chicago, where the bride and groom got ready before sharing an unforgettable first look on the rooftop, surrounded by sweeping skyline views. The bride looked effortlessly sophisticated in a modern, fashion-forward Danielle Frankel gown, perfectly complementing the sleek aesthetic of the day. Their wedding ceremony took place atop the iconic Old Post Office rooftop, where lush, romantic florals softened the building’s striking Art Deco architecture and expansive cityscape backdrop. The rooftop’s blend of historic Chicago architecture and contemporary design created an unforgettable setting for an intimate wedding celebration. Following the ceremony, guests gathered at Trivoli Tavern for a candlelit reception filled with warmth, connection, and understated luxury. With its moody ambiance, rich textures, and dark romantic atmosphere, Trivoli Tavern provided the perfect contrast to the open-air rooftop ceremony, making this Chicago wedding a beautiful example of modern elegance and intimate city wedding design.
