Jelena founded Love Story Wedding Events as a creative expression of her passion for bringing people together and designing unforgettable celebrations. Inspired by her rich cultural background and appreciation for traditions from around the world, she brings a unique perspective to every wedding she plans. With a special love for multicultural and ethnic celebrations, Jelena creates events that honor each couple's heritage while reflecting their unique love story with elegance and authenticity.
Her journey into the wedding industry began in high school while working at a local flower shop, where she discovered her love for design, beauty, and meaningful details. Over the years, that passion evolved into extensive hands-on experience in the hospitality and events industry. Jelena spent more than a decade working in and managing venues, gaining firsthand knowledge of every aspect of event operations, from setting tables, bartending, and serving guests to working behind the scenes in catering kitchens.
Combined with over a decade in the corporate financial services sector, Jelena's background gives her a rare blend of creativity, organization, and precision. Her understanding of venue operations, catering logistics, and event management allows her to anticipate challenges before they arise, ensuring every celebration is executed seamlessly.
A hopeless romantic at heart, Jelena has a special appreciation for timeless black-and-white photography and the emotions captured in life's most meaningful moments. When she's not planning or attending weddings (she once attended 14 weddings in a single year as a guest), she's traveling the world in search of inspiration, new cultures, and beautiful experiences.
Her greatest joy is creating celebrations that feel effortless, unforgettable, and uniquely reflective of the couples she serves.

Mirela brings years of experience and dedication since the very beginning of Love Story Weddings and Events. With a professional background in the fashion industry, including corporate experience with Burberry, she offers a refined eye for detail. Her work on sales teams at prestigious country clubs has also shaped her expertise in client service and luxury wedding coordination. Mirela’s cultured perspective and creative approach allow her to design and manage weddings that feel both personal and sophisticated. From intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations of 400+ guests, she ensures every wedding is seamlessly planned and beautifully executed
MILA
LEAD EVENT COORDINATOR
Mila joined our team in 2024 after relocating from Arizona, bringing valuable experience in both wedding planning and event design. She previously worked with a custom design rental company and a bachelorette planning company, giving her a well-rounded background in styling, logistics, and client coordination. Known for her exquisite eye for detail, Mila ensures every element of a wedding is thoughtfully curated and visually cohesive. Her quick thinking and problem-solving skills make her an essential part of delivering seamless, stress-free wedding days. Mila is passionate about creating personalized, beautifully executed celebrations that reflect each couple’s unique vision.
